Bronze 50cm Odalisque with the Coupe Pierre Le Faguays Art Deco/Art Nouveau

  

Bronze sculpture from the 1930s, measuring 50cm, titled "Odalisque with a Cup" by Pierre LE FAGUAYS ("Fayral"), in the Art Deco/Art Nouveau style. This stunning original piece features a young woman, partially clothed in a sensual loincloth and adorned with a few pieces of jewelry, holding an offering in an alabaster cup. Her feet rest on a stepped pedestal covered in carpet, all artistically positioned on a marble base with green and white veins on a black background. This piece is known not only for its characteristic Art Deco style, but also for the collaboration between Pierre LE FAGUAYS and Max Le Verrier, particularly in a highly sought-after series of cast iron sculptures and lamps.

The model presented here has also been produced with a light-up amphora. The sculpture is in very good condition, with only minimal wear to the patina. It is signed "Le Faguays" on the base of the bronze. Please contact me for pricing on deliveries outside the European Union.
