Magnifique lot de trois statues africaines en bronze massif, réalisées selon la technique traditionnelle de la cire perdue, représentant la maternité tribale, thème central dans l'art ouest-africain, notamment chez les peuples Dogon (Mali) et Bobo (Burkina Faso). Ces figures élancées, au style épuré et aux visages stylisés, témoignent d'un savoir-faire artisanal ancestral. Provenance : collection privée, acquises par la famille au Sénégal entre 1976 et 1986, lors d'un séjour de 45 ans en Afrique (20 ans au Sénégal, 25 ans au Gabon). Probablement de fabrication burkinabée, style Dogon/Bobo. Datation estimée : milieu à fin XXe siècle (certaines pièces pouvant être antérieures à leur acquisition). Patine naturelle d'usage et usure authentique. Métal sain, sans fissure, quelques marques superficielles cohérentes avec l'âge. Métal : bronze massif coulé à la cire perdue, patiné naturellement. Ensemble rare et harmonieux, idéal pour un collectionneur d'art africain ou pour apporter une touche ethnique et authentique à un intérieur. Magnificent set of three African statues in solid bronze, crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting technique, depicting tribal motherhood, a central theme in West African art, particularly among the Dogon (Mali) and Bobo (Burkina Faso) peoples. These elongated figures, with their refined proportions and stylised faces, reflect centuries-old artisanal expertise. The natural patina, the result of decades of age, adds depth and authenticity to the set.

Provenance: private collection, acquired by the family in Senegal between 1976 and 1986 during a 45-year stay in Africa (20 years in Senegal, 25 years in Gabon). Probably of Burkinabé manufacture, Dogon/Bobo style. Estimated dating: mid to late 20th century (some pieces may predate their acquisition). Natural patina and authentic signs of age. Sound metal, no cracks, only minor surface marks consistent with age.
