Simone Boutarel, born in Paris on March 5, 1892 and died in nyons on August 21, 1987, is a French sculptor and medalmaker. A student of paul landowski (the Christ redemptor - rio-de-janeiro, Brazil) and Edward Fraisse, a member of the society of French artists, simone boutarel exhibited a bust and a showcase of small sculptures at the independents' fair in 1928 and won a bronze medal at the 1929 French Artists' Fair.
