Pair of Bookends Animal Sculpture Reclining Does Bronze Art Deco Greek

  
Very beautiful pair of solid gold-plated bronze bookends representing two reclining deer. Each has a raised motif on their bodies, hand-chiseled with silver and copper metal inlays. Both are signed underneath, engraved in relief, but the artist's name is difficult to decipher as the characters in the signature are in Greek. They are in very good condition with a beautiful patina. Attached to two light teak bases and glued (see photos of black glue). Please see all the photos that are part of the description.
