Large bronze sculpture futuristic art / Metropolis style android woman

  
Patinated bronze sculpture, mounted on a veined black marble base, representing a futuristic woman in motion, with elongated and dynamic lines. The work immediately evokes the universe of Italian futurism, notably Umberto Boccioni, with its fragmented forms and exaggerated muscular tensions. One can also see inspiration from the late Art Deco style, combined with elements of robotics or androids, similar to the aesthetics of Fritz Lang's film "Metropolis" (1927). The body is stylized, almost biomechanical, with joints and cutouts reminiscent of certain works by Raymond Duchamp-Villon or the lines of Ernst Trova. The absence of a signature may indicate a confidential artistic production, possibly from a contemporary art workshop or a limited series. The appearance is dynamic, theatrical, almost choreographic. Unsigned, but clearly created by an artist or workshop sensitive to the major currents of 20th-century avant-garde. Condition: very good, beautiful patina, some micro-traces of use.
