Marcel andré bouraine 1886 / 1948. Sculptor born in pontoise working in the 20th century. He has exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon d'Autumn and the Salon des Tuileries since 1922.He studied sculpture under the direction of joseph-alexander falguière. Captured by the Germans during the First World War, he was interned in Swiss. Back in Paris, he exhibited at the tile fair in 1922. After beginnings still impregnated by academicism, a bouraine was revealed in the 1925s as one of the most representative sculptors of art deco.
